She is conducting her research on Indigenous Australian women’s smoking and quitting behaviour including smoking relapse in the context of pregnancy and postpartum periods to inform culturally sensitive smoking cessation interventions for Indigenous Australian women. Tabassum has experience of working in the field of violence against women, and with Indigenous communities, and early childhood development in Bangladesh.
