Sanjay Jain is Senior Fellow in the Department of Economics at Oxford. His research interests are in development economics, political economy, and applied microeconomic theory. He has previously served on the Economics faculty at Cambridge University, the University of Virginia, the George Washington University, as a lecturer at Princeton University, and as a frequent consultant to the World Bank.

Ole Jann is assistant professor of economics at CERGE-EI, a joint workplace of Charles University in Prague and the Czech Academy of Sciences. His research is in economic theory and on the covid-19 pandemic; he is head of the research project “Information Revelation and Privacy in the Information Age” and was coordinator of the project “Testing, incentives, information: How to mobilize society’s resources against the pandemic”.

Xavier Jaravel is Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a fellow at the Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS), the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and the College de France. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Review of Economic Studies.   He holds a PhD from Harvard (2016) and an undergraduate degree from Sciences Po. Beata Javorcik is Chief Economist of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London. She is on leave from the University of Oxford, where she is Professor of Economics. She specializes in international trade. Her research interests focus on determinants and consequences of inflows of foreign direct investment, implications of services liberalization, evaluation of investment promotion programmes, propagation of shock through production networks and evasion of import duties.

Susan Jebb is professor of diet and population health at the University of Oxford. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences and Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.  She leads a research team focused on the treatment of obesity and interventions to encourage healthy and sustainable diets.  Susan also works closely with national policymakers to support the translation of scientific evidence into policy and practice.

Remi Jedwab is an associate professor of Economics and International Affairs at the Elliott School and the Department of Economics of George Washington University and an Affiliated Scholar of the Marron Institute of Urban Management at New York University.
