Charles is director of data analytics at the Health Foundation, leading a team which uses data and applied analysis.
Charles has spent most of his career in public policy analysis. Previous roles include head of operational research and evaluation at NHS England, head of social care analysis at DHSC, chief analyst to the Dilnot Commission and senior policy analysis roles in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and HM Treasury.
Eddy is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Business Taxation, Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. His research is in the area of public economics and development economics. He has studied the economic effects of tax policies, and issues on health and human capital in developing countries.
Marselia is a researcher at the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre and an MSc student in Global Health Policy at LSE. Her current research interests are in the areas of global mental health, ageing, long-term care, and application of technology to bridge health inequalities. She is currently an editor on the student-run Journal of Health Policy and Economics. Marselia has worked in pharmaceutical market access and real-world research projects (qualitative and quantitative) in Asia Pacific.
Celine Tan is Professor of International Economic Law at the University of Warwick. Her research centres on exploring aspects of international economic law and regulation with a focus on international development financing law, policy and governance. She is also interested in the intersections between law and development, gender, human rights and the environment. Shivani Taneja is a Research Fellow in the School of Economics at the University of Nottingham. She has previously worked as a Teaching Associate in the School of Business and Management at Queen Mary University of London, as a Research Fellow in the School of Economics at the University of Surrey and as a Research Associate in Environmental Economics at the University of Manchester. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Essex and her thesis focused on topics in labour economics.
Valerie Tarasuk’s primary research focus is household food insecurity. She has led several studies to elucidate the scope, nature, and health implications of this problem in Canada, assess the effectiveness of community responses, and determine the effects of public policies and programs on food insecurity rates. Since 2011, she has led PROOF, an interdisciplinary research designed to identify effective policy approaches and mobilise knowledge to reduce household food insecurity in Canada.
