
Vanessa Rubio-Márquez is a Professor in Practice and Associate Dean at the LSE School of Public Policy. She spent 25 years in Mexico’s public service, serving three times as Deputy Minister — including as the first woman Deputy Minister of Finance — and as a Senator. She has represented Mexico at the G20, IMF, World Bank and OECD, and took part in negotiations including the USMCA. She is also an associate fellow at Chatham House.
