
Julija Simpson is a postdoctoral researcher at Newcastle University’s Population Health Sciences Institute. Her research examines the social and economic determinants of health, with particular interests in geographical health inequalities, social security policy and the relationship between health and labour-market outcomes. Julija uses quantitative methods to evaluate how social and economic policies shape health and inequalities.
