
Giuliana is a Professor of the Economics of Innovation at Warwick Business School. She has been reading and researching innovation, industrial economics and policy for the past 25 years. She is particularly interested in the generation, uptake and economic impact of innovations and new technologies. Her research has been supported by over 15 grants and has appeared in several leading journals. She held visiting professorships in the USA and mainland Europe and has been advising on industrial and innovation policy various national and international organisations and governments. Giuliana is a committee member of the National Statistics Advisory Group of the Royal Statistical Society and the co-chair of the British Network of Industrial Economists. She was the co-director of the GRP Productivity and the Futures of Work of the University of Warwick and a member of the Office for National Statistics Panel of Economics Experts.
