Alberto Cavallo

Alberto Cavallo is an Associate Professor at Harvard Business School and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Professor Cavallo’s research focuses on the behavior of prices and its implications for macroeconomic measurement and policies. He co-founded the Billion Prices Project, an academic initiative that pioneered the use of online data to conduct research on high-frequency price dynamics and inflation measurement.

Cecchetti is Rosen Family Chair in International Finance at the Brandeis International Business School and Vice-Chair of the Advisory Scientific Committee of the European Systemic Risk Board. He served as Economic Adviser and Head of the Monetary and Economic Department at the Bank for International Settlements from 2008 to 2013 and as Director of Research at the New York Fed from 1997 to 1999. Neil Chakraborti is a Professor of Criminology, Head of School and Director of the Centre for Hate Studies at the University of Leicester. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications within the field of hate crime and has been commissioned by numerous funding bodies to lead research studies which have shaped hate crime policy and scholarship. Kalipso Chalkidou is the director of global health policy for the Center for Global Development, based in London, and a Professor of Practice in Global Health at Imperial College London. Her work concentrates on helping governments build technical and institutional capacity for using evidence to inform health policy as they move towards Universal Healthcare Coverage. She is interested in how local institutions can drive scientific and legitimate healthcare resource allocation decisions.
