We use high-frequency phone surveys to dynamically track the impact of covid19 over a 3-month period. We already have baseline data on a sample of 1,250 households randomly selected from rural villages in Western Uganda. These baseline surveys were conducted during the start of March 2020, before any restrictions began or cases of Covid-19 occurred in Uganda. This baseline data would allow us to compare the impact of the lockdown and the Covid-19 outbreak to the baseline situation of these households.
